On October 5, 2024, Minister Bobbie Hoffman held a Pet Blessing event in the St. Luke Pavillion.  The community was invited to come celebrate the gift of our pets with a very special blessing.  All pets were welcome.  If your pet was too shy, too big or too rowdy, you could bring a picture.  Children were encouraged to bring their stuffed animal pets. Minister Bobbie let the ceremony with readings of the scripture, prayers, and the distribution of treats to the attending pets, creating a sense of community and spiritual care for all creatures great and small.

Along with the event, Leslie Romasco utilized the Thrivent Action team grant to supplement the many personal donates that we received.  See our November 2024 newsletter to see the list of donations that were delivered to the Perkiomenville Branch of the Montgomery County SPCA.
